Removal of the catalytic converter on vehicles registered on or after 1st August 1992 will result in the vehicle failing an MOT test.
Cat replacement pipes are intended for off-road, track day or race use only. Some sports catalysts and cat replacement pipes may illuminate the engine management dashboard warning light.
